Terms of Service

The rules of using MagicActors.

Last updated

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of MagicActors. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

MagicActors lets you generate AI-driven video using third-party providers we route through. The Service is sold as prepaid video minutes (not a subscription at launch).

2. Eligibility

You must be 16 or older to use the Service, and you must have the authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or the organization you represent.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to the rules in our Acceptable Use Policy. In short: no impersonation without consent, no non-consensual sexual content, no political deepfakes, no illegal content.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the photos, voice samples, scripts, and renders you upload or generate. You grant MagicActors a limited license to host, process, and deliver that content to you and to the providers required to render it.

5. AI-generated output

AI-generated video is not always accurate or representative. See our Disclaimer for details. You are responsible for reviewing every render before publishing it.

6. Payment and refunds

Prepaid minute packs are charged at purchase. Refund terms are described in the Refund Policy.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Data & account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. Unused prepaid minutes may be refundable per the Refund Policy.

8. Liability

The Service is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, MagicActors’ liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
